Oxford at Brenau students can obtain financial aid in the form of Federal Grants and Direct Loans. Any student who wishes to apply for federal aid must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Students must complete all Brenau University admissions requirements and be fully accepted for admission before financial aid can be processed. Use Brenau’s federal school code #001556 in your application. You can apply for a PIN at www.pin.ed.gov so you can electronically sign your application and expedite the process.
Applications for financial aid are generally processed on a rolling basis beginning in early spring. However, completing the FAFSA by April 1st so you can meet our May 1st priority deadline will help to maximize your financial aid package. Please keep in mind that many financial aid programs are limited by budgetary constraints or by legislative processes.
The financial aid deadline for each semester is one month prior to the beginning date of that semester. If your admissions and/or financial aid files are not complete by the semester deadline, it will be your responsibility to make payment under any one of the payment options outlined in the Brenau University Catalog. Students who make payments may be reimbursed after financial aid is awarded.
Scholarships are offered by many organizations, some of which are listed here. Veterans should look at the possible VA educational benefit offerings. To petition for a scholarship from the Oxford Center, please email us.
